What do you like about blogging?
Actually, I like blogging because different aspect. Here, I can share my knowledge with others and sometimes share ideas and thoughts and exchange industry knowledge with others. Besides, when I sit down to start an article I have to put something together my readers will enjoy, if not then I have failed my purpose of this blog. So by blogging it inspires me to extensive research for my articles which increases my knowledge of what I am writing about. It also reflects my writing by show it in a daily life review.
What you do not like about blogging?
I have to find an idea or suitable topic to be written in my blog. Other than that, sometimes I don’t have free time to update my blog. So, it is quite embarrassing when the viewer didn’t see any progression from my entry.
What have you gained from blogging e.g. Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc. How?
Yes of course, blogging really helps me to improve my skills such as writing. It can improve my non verbal skills as well as my language proficiency. For example, I will know some of the grammatical errors that I did.. First of all, blogging really helps in my technology skills. For example, I need to sign up into BlogSpot, then to start blogging; it requires me to explore some of the functions in BlogSpot, how to add the picture, how to create a new post. Actually, technology and blogging cannot be separated each other.
How to change the font, etc. What do you like about this course?
I have learn many things through this course. For example, by doing the modules, I have learn on how to download some softwares, such as any video converter used to convert the files in the video, to cut the video, to do some snapshot from the video etc. Besides, I have also learned on how to search the web, how to convert the files into words, pdf etc. to conclude, many things I’ve learnt actually. Before this, if I request to do coverting or editing any files, I usually will ask my friend to do it. Now, I can do it by my own.
What you do not like about this course?
Mostly, the problem that we will face is time constrain to finish all the work given. In order to finish all the modules, I have to spend many days to finish it. Thus, I have done many works, to print screen, follow all the steps, and to print the same thing. Besides, the tasks given also require lot of time to do. Actually, there are lots of things that we need to do for other subjects too. If the duration of submission of the task is suitable with the work load, I think I can produce more better quality of work.
What have you learnt from this course?
Honestly, I have learned a lot of new things that related to technology. Everything is about technology and in order to find some resources also requires the use of technology. For example, before this, I just hear some software or application such as audacity, but I totally don’t know how to use it. After the lecture and do the task on it, it is actually an easy application. Besides, it is quite enjoyful to use it. Thus, this course also helps me in my technology skills.
What have you learnt from this course that you did not expect to?
Everything that I have learned in this course is the things that I’ve never expected from the very beginning. Such as audio editing, video editing, E-book etc. All those things are related to resources in technology.
What have u expected but do not learn from this course?
Actually before this class starts, I still feel ambiguous about this course. So, as overall there is no expectation.

I have learned on how to find the some of the resources from the internet as well as enhance my computing skills.
What do you not like about this module?
To download some document from the intrenet, it will take some time. This module also quite thick and lots of thing we should do.

The task really helps me to find some documents and information from the internet.
What do you not like about the task given for this module?
Nothing. But I think the task is quite confusing at first, but I managed to do it.
What are the specific skills that you learn in this module?
I have learned on how to search related documents from the internet. It really enhanced my internet skills( technology skills)
How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?
Yes, I can find some documents from the internet and use it as my teaching aids. Besides, I have learnt some computing skills which it really helps to enhance my skills to use computer.
Photo Editing
What do you like about this module?
I know how to edit the photo, to make the photos more interesting thus, knows about many softwares for photo editing.
What do you not like about this module?
Nothing that I don’t like about this module
What do you like about the task given for this module?
For the task in this module, I managed to finish the task before the due date shows that I really like to do this task. I love to edit the pictures actually
What do you not like about the task given for this module?
To come out with many teaching aids from the lesson plan done, it makes me a little bit confuse and require lots of time.
What are the specific skills that you learn in this module?
The specific skills that I’ve learn is to make the pictures become more interesting is not the easy thing to do. It requires lot of time. At the same time we have to do print screen and I was told a bit late, then, I have to redo the same thing( I cannot remember what I did to the previous edited picture)
How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?
Yes, I can choose some pictures that can be used as my teaching aids, then if the pictures not clear for example, I can edit that pictures and make it more interesting.
Audio Editing Skills
What do you like about this module?
I know how to edit the audio , cut the song and do many things with the audio.
What do you not like about this module?
It requires lot of time. For example, if we want to increase and decrease the sound of the audio,we need to hear the sound from the very beginning, identify which part that we want to edit.
What do you like about the task given for this module?
I can combine the songs, learn on how to do a ringtone and edit the audio by identifying which past that should be edited.
What do you not like about the task given for this module?
For the task 3, some part is quite difficult to identify and it was quite difficult to remove the noise, I can only decrease the noise and cut the audio a little bit, so that that audio will run smoothly.
What are the specific skills that you learn in this module?
Skills on how to use audacity software, and know some function in this software. Thus, I have learn many things about audio editing
How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?
I can use my skills on how to edit audio, maybe I can choose any song especially children song, edit that song and use it in class especially with children. Example, I can make the song as a minus one.

What do you like about this module?
I’ve learn something on how to edit the audio, know many software that can be used to edit the video such as windows movie maker, any video converter, etc.
What do you not like about this module?
I like everything about this module
What do you like about the task given for this module?
The tasks given required me to extract the pictures , the audio and it really help me by giving new knowledge about video editing
What do you not like about the task given for this module?
For some software such as windows movie maker, only a video with AVI format can be used. So, I have to find different software to do this task.

firtly, I learn on how to extract the pictures, audio from the video and it really helps to enhance my skill in editing the video and make it to become more interesting. Then, it can be use as a teaching aids.
How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?
I love using song and video as my teaching aids. I can pick any video that suitable with the topic, extract the pictures as well as the audio and use it as my teaching aids.
Software for ELT What do you like about this module?
I’ve learn many things about new softwares as well as learn many things such as editing and create poster through Microsoft publisher.
What do you not like about this module?
Some the certain software make me confuse on how to use it and require lots of time to explore. Sometimes, there is a mistake too.

I can enhance my knowledge by learning a new things about software application.

The tasks given were quite confusing and we have to be more creative in order to come out with a piece of good work. Besides, there are lot of mistake on the module given.

Honestly, I have a learnt a lot especially computer skills.
How the skills learnt in this module can help in the making and choosing of teaching aids for the ELT classroom?
Yes of course. Actually this course helps me to make variety on my teaching aids. I can come out with many things once I master doing all these and know how to use many interesting things. Furthermore, the application and integration of technology in teaching process will create effective classroom learning.
If you can change anything about this course, state what is and elaborate?
Firstly, I want to highlight on the Module given. Generally, the burden to finish up the module is so high. Sometimes it is not suitable with the duration of the submission date. Other than that, there are a lot of mistakes and wrong information on the module itself which it can give confuse to the student. Second, sometimes the task given is actually a repeated version. it might be a same topic but in different task. So, I think we just waste our time doing the same task. If we were given a new task on a new topic it is so meaningful towards our lesson.

Hye and assalamulaikum..
Frankly speaking, I have learnt a lot of new things in this class. After attending this class for last 13th weeks, I really enjoy this class so much. So, for this week entry there is no lecture reflection but it is an entry about task submission. Here are the tasks that we have to submit for this week.
TASKS SUBMISSION :
1) Module 2 (photo editing)
2) Individual work, hardcopy + softcopy (task 1)
3) Pair work, e-book, hardcopy + softcopy (task
4) Group work, lesson plans, hardcopy + sofcopy (task 3)
Basically all the task and module given had taught us on variety of today new learning using technology. Thus, as a future teacher, it really helps me to enhance my knowledge as well as skills about technology.

What is E-Book ?
An electronic book or E- Book is a text- and image-based publication in digital form produced on, published by, and readable on computers or other digital devices.
E-BOOK creation !
For this week's class, Pn Foziah has showed some examples of e-books to us. Before this I thought that E-Book is just a learning through internet access. However, it is more that !
Based on the example and the explanation, I conclude that E-book is an interesting and attractive way to be integrated in teaching and learning process. It is like teaching aids that integrate technology on it. Generally, it helps to engage student to the learning in a fun and interactive way.
On the class lesson, Mdm Poziah checks the e-Book that we have done .For e-book, the requirements that we have to follow are:
1) A theme to the story
2) Setting (time and place)
3) Plot that shows the conflict, climax and resolution
4) Characterization
5) Navigational tools to make sure the slides can work properly (can go to next slide and previous slide)
6) Pictures must be clear cut and colourful, no different shades or shadows
7) Sound to accompany the e-book reading.
Basically, Mdm Poziah has help us lot in understanding what is E-Book all about. She went around the class to check our E-book to gave feedback or comments to improve our work.
Meanwhile, the rest of the class time, she asks us to continue work on Module 2. She also observes the progression on it.

Honestly, I really like today lesson! Actually, I love taking and editing pictures. Many of us had shown their talent through the amazing picture that had shown in their facebook or flickr account. For today task, we need to snap any picture that we want. Than, do editing things on those picture.
Here are the examples of the photo editing software that we can use :
1) Iphoto
2) Photobucket
3) ACDsee
4) Adobe Photoshop CS3
5) photoscape
Based on the list of the software above, I mostly prefer to use Adobe Photoshop or photoscape.This is because the features on it is so easy and the result is really amazing. Moreover, I have experience using this kind of appplication.

My Resources for "week 9"
MODULE 2 is coming~
hye and assalamulaikum..we meet again..:)
For today class, Mdm Poziah distributes Module 2 to each student. In this Module, it mainly focuses on how we want to edit photo?.
Before that, we have to install “Adobe Photoshop CS3” because we will use this kind of software in this photo editing module.
For me, this application is really interesting.. it can give us satisfaction in editing our photo by using the variety of function in it.

I Love AUDACITY so much!!!!

Before this, I always do ask myself “How the song composer edit and compose their created song. What software they use?” ..This doubt and question finally answered and revealed from this week class.
What is AUDACITY?
Audacity is a free software, cross-platform digital audio editor and recording application. By using this sotware the user can easily record and edit sound. Here, we can create our own song too.
Here,the task is aboout:
Task 1
a. Choose a song, and then edit it by isolating the chorus of the song to make it in a ringtone. The song could either be a Malay, Mandarin, Hindi or an English song.
b. Save it on CD and hand it in together with the module.
Task 2
1. The next task is to cut and paste two songs together and make it sound nice.
2. The evaluation criteria will depend on the quality of sound and the tempo of the song.
Task 3
i. The third task is to edit a song and to change the quality of the song to make it sound better. The editing must be done for the song ‘dua insan’ sung by siti and M.Nasir. The intro needs to cut out the clapping sound and the end of the song, cut out the clapping sound as well as the introduction of the singers.
So,lets do it!!!
